Cap, thats what happened to that first little chick and why the other 3 are in the house. One night the bulb worked , thats it.

I should of went to bed hrs before. I had a heck of a time getting comfortable because I go to sleep on that hip and tried my best not to lay on it and after I said screw it, I rolled over on it and was out like a light.

I usually put in a back up bulb but this brooder is small and it would probably be too hot. Good think they are indoors. Thinking about ordering a heating pad. But they are so stupid they probably would be scared of it.
Think i will snooze a bit longer .bbl
