maybe try a second hand store and of the cut glass wear will work or maybe the bottom of a sugar dish or creamer.

or you can just use a fork and to a criss-cross pattern like the old time peanutbutter cookies NOT as nice IMO but would work.

To intricate makes it harder to get the cookie off when you press it. And to be honest you loose most of the detail as the cookie bakes

You are talking about the Norwegian cookies right. as the molasses does NOT get pressed.
