The snake on the porch was a rat snake. Remember how bad they were last year? I think the worst day was 7. They are constrictors so it kills before it eats. When it realizes the chick is too big, it tries again. A difference may be in prey, because the same sized rat would be able to squeeze through a small opening because of their weird bones, but a chicken can’t do that. Weird to think that the thing that makes them opportunistic pests is also the thing that makes them prey for snakes.

Why do men try to burb as loud and obnioux as possible.

In some cultures burping is a compliment to the chef. Men are obnoxious because they are really big children. They probably do armpit farts too!

well shoot, just remembered I have a humongous spiral sliced ham in the fridge. .98 cent a lb after Easter sale. See , I didnt buy all candy ! I sure did forget about it though. Wonder if I make that offer to DD if she will cook again ?

The Marans eggs are nice and dark. Lot of people clean them, hatcheries too. You want as much oxygen as possible to be getting into those dark eggs. So much paint on them, they don't always breathe well.

it went in my foot as well. Cramping is right back and been gone a lot of the day. Im gonna need a pill. They are constipating.

Well i had a good nap and now i am wide awake. Didn't get much cleaning done, but i made a pot of soup.

That happens to me a lot. Sleep for about 4 hours and I'm wide awake... until it's time to get up in the morning!

Myth. I use oxine in the water. It has been shown to actually increase hatch rates by killing off bacteria.

I have read about this. Lots of chicken myths out there. We need byc version of Myth Busters!

He took the turkey home ? We normally share every thing.

He took about half, and half of the dressing and gravy and a yam. It was his turkey! We got the carcass. It's already in the crock pot. Carcass soup!
