They’re feathering out! Little wyanrock is showing no signs of lacing. Sigh. It looks like other than the buff I’ve got a flock of dark colored chickens. The grey hobbit (tricksy little hobitses!!) are looking like they’ll feather out dark grey. Sigh. Ugh. So hubs saw a pic of the peeps. “Looks like you didn’t rake it out too good”

No hubs. I’ve been feeling poopy and they needed some time to flap their wings. No I didn’t rake out their run they’re just going to scratch it up anyway!! Gahhh.

Here I was hoping that absense would make the heart grow fonder but he’s being a salty (female dog) again. Ugh. His moodiness of late is really driving me bonkers. I have the feeling when he gets back I’m gonna say here I’m booking us into marriage councelling cause Dangit we need it right meow.

DH used to get really mean when we were leaving visits with his fam, or they were leaving from us. He couldn’t process “sadness” so he lashed out.

This is what would happen if I have surgery. I knew it. No one to help except Tom and he dont have a clue. Pain is bad . Waiting on relief from a PP I took over an hr ago so thats not gonna happen. Guess I will do what I can. Need to flip waterers over after they are filled will be really fun.

I’m chalking it up to that. He’s stressed about calfire and not hearing anything about that job, work is bugging him, etc but I feel like he needs to learn to communicate these feelings in a better way than being a brat to the wifey.

Granny please don’t waste your money on a sick bird that could decimate your flock. I know you’re sentimental about her, but they’re really not that special. Not worth risking everything else.

I’m surprised that I love those banty cochins. They just crack me up! And I was so sad to only have one left. They’ll look cute running around with the honas I have left.

I loved my two, but not the feathered feet... leg mites are trouble here. First chicken I lost to a predator was my beautiful batam cochin, Minnie Pearl.
