Good morning Misty. I can't afford to be superstitious. I was born on a Friday 13th. At 1300 hrs.

13 is a prominent number in my immediate family... 3 birthdays, an anniversary, and how many years I knew my hubs before we got married. We have turned it into a lucky number, like a baker's dozen.

Ran out of layer pellets yesterday, so heading off to the feed store soon. It can get ugly around here when the mob is hungry.

I try not to run out of any type of feed. Its cheapest at Rocky Mount, a bit of a trip to get there so i buy lots when i go. I buy layer pellets, rabbit pellets, and scratch, plus game bird feed.

I don't have an easy way to store extra. Thinking about finding an old chest freezer to keep it in, but the there's the issue of where to keep the ugly old freezer.

There's always something around here for them to eat if it comes to that... the serama's grower crumbles, oats, wild birdseed, BOSS, grass/grubs/bugs, cat food, and leftovers from the fridge. The mob won't starve, they'll just make you think they are.

here tomorrow Orshlins will give a tree to the first 50 peeps . its a twig really Blue spruce maybe . I have room for every single one. LOL I wish. Is it Earth day ?

haha My mom always wanted to dig a storage bunker into the side of the hill.
