The mice have so much to eat since the bunnies throw stuff on the ground so far they have not gotten into the feed bags in the barn. But the ones in the garage did get into the sunflower seed. I have not been able to find a free freezer locally. I plan to build a wooden box or 2 and tack metal on the outside. When i get time.

There is a very old storage bin in the barn up at the farm. Came with it, I think. Something like this but bigger and painted blue! We always used it and as a kid I never thought about why, just thought it was to keep things tidy.

When the amount of horses outgrew the storage bin, dad got a bunch of old metal oil drum with lids and kept all the grain in those. These things were easy to get back then and cheap. Not like these days. I think he took them all to the dump.

We also had an awesome barn cat... I saw her once dragging a dead pack rat between her feet. The rat was longer than she was!

Morning all, My trees are blooming . Such a sight as I have many.

Plum trees are all done and most of the oaks, but there is a ton of pollen in the air... my car looks yellow.
Best thing is the grapefruit tree is blooming... smells wonderful! Next are the CA buckeyes... they are lovely smelling too. Poor #2... allergies. sniff sniff

here tomorrow Orshlins will give a tree to the first 50 peeps . its a twig really Blue spruce maybe . I have room for every single one. LOL I wish. Is it Earth day ?

I was thinking about that... we had a free roaming chicken flock and they cleaned up every bit of extra grain or feed left over from the larger animals. They scratched through the poo and picked that clean as well. With chickens and all the dogs and cats... rodents were outnumbered.

Not till July. The little guy is growing like a weed.

aw... That was my grammy's birthday.
Grandpa's was the 10th and their wedding anniversary was July 12th.

Haha. I actually salvaged it from my father in law’s woodpile years ago thinking I’d make a planter out of it. Well, then it sat in the big girls coop and they liked to hop around on it so I thought I’d give the peeps something different. their run is pretty boring right now...

I seen a site Look up anyone ! Find their personal profile, their past, if they are wanted , bla bla.. I looked up myself. Now their following me / Pop up things like, OMG Do you know what we found out about you ? I never did get any info but now they are like a badge of shame or something.
