Josie and I came to big town to stay the night with my bff. She rode loose in the car like a big girl, then met a friend’s Great Dane and German Shepard pups. They did not do well and we ended up separating them because the Dane was playing aggressively and Josie was pretty nervous.

Then we met up with bff at petsmart and walked around. They had most off of their toys on clearance and their treats on sale! Josie picked a crinkly ear of corn with tug ropes on it and immediately ripped a hole in it. There was only one, so she also got a crinkle carrot.

I seen a post on FB where Mutt got a shot like mine in her knee and dr told her same thing, stay off it. She put a knee brace on and went home and did her chores.

I don't know what the statistics are, but those shots work for the vast majority of people, or it wouldn't be standard practice. You are obviously not one of the vast majority, medically speaking. Don't you love being special?

this what DD got at the food bank yesterday. Yes, she is eating it and yes, it has real crickets in it.

I don't know... I bought a small bag of those dried mealworms once. When I opened it up, they smelled good... like chips! I thought, well, if I was really hungry, this would do.
Nutritionally speaking, insect protein is some of the best, healthiest protein for human consumption. It's just what you're used to.

I've got a lot of catching up to do, but will have to be later. Got up very late today. Spent the night & morning hacking ip a lung. Chores to do & some shoveling. Doesn't look like we got more than a couple inches of snow last night It can be deceiving looking out a window though. Bbl, hugs & hope everyone is having a good day.

I am working on the lean-to, i miscalculated because i was too lazy to draw up plans. So making adjustments. Pretty good though, only one more piece of roofing to go up. I may have to cut it, which would be a PIA.
You can see where the metal doesn't quite reach the next board.

No way! That just the first step in the push to regulate the backyard flocks. Hermits don't volunteer information to government entities. Hermits avoid control freaks like the plague. Hermits want to stay under the radar... or a nice safe chair.

could be a "sneaky way" for "THEM" government to keep track/find out who might be "violating" random chicken keeping rule BUT very interesting to see what the results of the "testing" will be.
