Granny's gone and done it again

our mother is a remarkable woman, i had to take tom to dr. today because his legs are crying. they put an uno boot on them both. so he is out of the game for a couple weeks. he will be getting home health care. when i got home a preacher called and said mom wanted to talk to him. i eavesdropped on the convo and heard her say " i am dying, i would like you to come pray with me and possibly say a few words over me when i am gone. he will be here saturday. all the way from columbus In.

Last two board members just left. Meeting was at 10. The board is over half former camp staff who love this place and are willing to work to help us save it. I’m resting a second then driving to big town to see my fam. Think I’ll use the last of the hona money to buy some tomato plants, because I think I still have time for the cukes and herbs to catch up.

My lavender amerecauna chick was droopy, picked her up and she’s just bones. I moved her and the honas to a separate cage for now, til I can move the bigger chicks out. They’re all the same age but the lorps are three times her size. The honas are good weight because they’re scrappy, but she needed company.
