Granny's gone and done it again

Yep same dirt, same seeds, planted just 2 weeks later than the tall tomato plants. I never had seedlings do this before. It's like they are dormant or in limbo. They are not dead, they just haven't grown ANY since they came up.
ohh . wow ya that is weird. the only difference is the pot then.

No I even started the other tomato seedlings in the same type of pot. Once the seedlings had their second set of true leaves I repotted them with most of the stem covered & just the tops sticking out of the soil. They've grown that much again.

exact same dirt or same bag of dirt ? Im thinking the first set took the nutrients out ?
Camping, drool ! Love the 100s in salads

I bought tomato plants yesterday. Lowe’s had them 5 for $15. I got two purple Cherokee, two super sweet cherry 100, and a creole hybrid. Then I got a 6-pack of some yellow kind. I’m still going to try seeds, but maybe this will make sure we have some tomatoes by June.
The only reason I went with growing tomato seedlings is because in our area there is not a huge variety of tomato plants you can purchase. I got 6 of the 4th of July tomato plants (4 will be planted in the green house. Have never had tomatoes that early) and 5 are a super sauce tomato that is round. Have tried the roma tomatoes & even those don't ripen well here. Those were planted in the green house to extend their growing season, but even when they were red on the outside the inside was greenish.

Nope, same bag of dirt. When I transplanted the first tomatoes their original soil went into the larger container with them & then I added new soil to top them off.
