It will probably grow better that way, compost is good stuff. You can use any branches , doesn't have to be fancy.

I noticed that Teensy had a little horn on her ( ) comb. Then watering the second coop babies I noticed the dominiques also had little horns. Done have rose combs, so I looked up bantams with rose combs and came up with the buff sebright. Buggy eyes, slate (?) legs, and rose combs. Might be a winner!

No kidding! Best thing about Sebrights is the lacing, though. Is it a calm bird?
Someone told a story about buying a Sebright for his kid for 4H. Got it home and carefully opened the box to get it out and it went berserk! Ended up breaking it's own neck in the box.
