Polish roo dead this am. Still have ONE! No signs of trauma or disease. Not skinny- very healthy yesterday am when he let me rub on him.
Pumpkin pie for bfast. Would eat dressing but i dont have cranberry sauce.

Morning all, Jane, dirty santa sounds fun ! LOL No idea on the polish at all ? Sorry to hear. I am fed up with them. I love em to pieces but I have wasted enough time on them. 3 yrs. with not the first tolbunt hatch. I did manage to hatch 3 candy corn pullets. one died , one has wry tail and is very small one left that is just so-so.

Today is Christmas for us! Kids are wearing new clothes to church, then we'll come home and put on new pjs and the kids will open gifts from us. They've done the gifts from Iowa off and on this week.

I have thought that your kandycorn polish are interesting. If i had known our weather was going to be so mild i would have done an october hatch. Everyone said early cold winter. Want to cross polish with legbar. Hope to get interesting feathering & a topknot. Wish i had some kandycorn.

Im gonna only get new chickens from hatching eggs. This cuts down on possibly introducing disease into my flock. Gonna contact breeder that i got BO chicks from 4 yrs ago. See if he will sell BO & BR eggs in April. He is where i got my 1st EE hen.
