Yall aint had good corn sounds to me like. Pick it fresh cut it off the cob then scrape the cob getting all the juice . fry it in a skillet with a small amount of water and butter then season it and add some thickner. corn starch and water mixed. It freezes good too.

That's what I do in the fall when it starts to cool down. I begin canning and freezing

Oh I haven’t told y’all the best part yet. Guess what my friend brought me? 2 duck eggs to work! So tomorrow I’ll give those to Hawk and set more eggs.

A guy named Henry used to bring corn to town from Indiana. Best corn there ever was. He passed away several years ago, he was such a nice old man.

Most stuff I could care less but there is the odd thing that has to be name brand,just certain things

Lol she’s a sweetheart. I told her about the scovie eggs and she’s like I wonder if my duck eggs are fertile? So she brought me 2 to try.

well that’ll give you time with these babies so they get some size. And it’s local. And you can always go home to take a lunch break and get more birds. Sounds perfect to me.

Looks like I am going to have to put these babies on FB. I dont like to do that. I dont know why. Pictures maybe . which is dumb. pics are easy to do. I just enjoy the swaps but dont want to hang on to these for 2 months. There is a swap Mothers day in KY but I would need special paperwork to take them.
