I have a couple birds that have that crooked of toes too. They hatched with them. This bird didn't & you can literally see the jointalmost all my tolbunts have toes like that and they didnt break them.

I have wooden floor and dont use shavings. LOLI have a LOT more chickens then you do and a cement floor so nothing decomposes and disappears anywhere.

Mine are wood floors covered with sand & PDZ. That's why I clean it out often. Keeps the floors from rotting.I have a LOT more chickens then you do and a cement floor so nothing decomposes and disappears anywhere.

Probably not, I know that basically her toe needs to heal, more concerned if I need to be doing something about possible infection.educator read it and didnt comment so I think she didnt have anything else to add.
