That is the plan. I paid $1 per egg. You can get $10-15 for turkey poults. And i might keep some to go with the 10 poults i bought. Looks like another hoop coop is in order!
Did i mention i got Tolbunt Polish and a Speckled Sussex young trio?

I am better off selling poults, lower feed bills. I plan to raise some for us to eat.

90 degrees for the first week??

I start with low 80s and adjust if they seem to need it. I do not have good luck starting them at 90.

Y’all are so technical with heat. I just stick a lamp on one side or a plate and let it be. Not once have I ever checked temp

I do that too! But if I have a spare thermo then I toss it in because I’m curious.

I accidentally wiped the numbers for temp off the side of my thermometer lol I bought a few more but they are in the bator...

I’m so cranky and I’m not even out of bed yet. My bedroom door is broken (screws keep pulling from the hinges and it won’t shut). Josie cried all night and I couldn’t shut the door. DH thinks she was lonely bc Jewel kept sneaking in. I don’t know what her issue was.

Bubba has a bday party today and I’m just telling myself that I can survive anything for two hours, because I really don’t want to go.

Jazzy will cry all night too. She also bangs on the cage door... but she won’t stay in the bedroom if we let her sleep with us. I’ve tried and moms tried. She can’t be unsupervised.
