Granny's gone and done it again

I planted grapes many yrs ago. never got the first grape. Now the wild roses have /are taking over and I cant even get close to them. Those things are taking over every thing.
Thinking about mowing my thornless blackberries down. They are a pain to mow around . They are getting ready to bloom. They taste good but always full of ants.
If you don't eat the berries, you may as well, long as it doesn't kill your mower. Chickens would LOVE the berries... they don't care about ants.

I havent talked to DD in a couple weeks. I asked her if she wanted to go to the swap w/ me tomorrow. She said, I hate chickens. Looking like if I go it will be alone.
Happy mother's day. :hmm

Hi everyone, should have said that sooner. Late morning again for me, plus hubs forgot to take a couple doz of eggs for a guy he works with. He texts me wanting to know if I wanted to do lunch & bring eggs in. I said sorry, lots to do today, no lie I have tons to do. With that being said I'm off to get stuff achomplished so I don't make myself into a liar, bbl. Hope everyone has a great day.
Hope you have a great one to stay safe and hydrated:frow

My best friend lost her husband to leukemia some time ago, right around when my Dad died. Now her boyfriend died suddenly when he was planning to close on a house in Sarasota , FL! Poor lady, i feel so badly for her. Wish i could be there to hug her.
My condolences to your friend:hugs

They have special formulations here to reduce emissions, and that causes less mpg across the board for everyone. Always wonder if they take into account that we use more gas to drive the same distance, so is it really less emissions in the long run? Can't complain too much. I remember Los Angeles smog in the 60s. The air was brown. It's better now, even with more people.

Sorry again. You are having a deadly spring this year.
That does look like raccoon poo. Doesn't mean that's what did it. Owl or hawk will leave a pile of feathers like that. Got any big enough to carry off a keet? Red tailed?

Guineas were full grown. The scat over in the tractor/garden area. I’m having a hard time with pics today. Circled poop in red, blue box is where the tractor was at the time of the attack. This is where Herkey and Ms. Natalie were.
