Granny's gone and done it again

In case anyone is still awake, i plugged my cpap machine in again after i had unplugged it earlier when it wouldn't come on. AND IT IS WORKING!

Oh yeah, and please any of you that are my friends on facebook , do not mention my hubby. He is very private about medical stuff and would have a fit if he knew i was talking about him. His mother is on facebook and reads all my posts so then she asks him about it and i am busted! He never posts there, no account.

I’m catching up still but...granny’s thread is like Vegas. What’s said in granny’s thread stays in granny’s thread. Huge hugs!

Oh Misty. That bowl with the avocado and boiled egg looks delicious. But what is that for dessert?

Is that ice cream in a hot dog bun?!? At first I thought it was a banana split or something but that looks suspiciously like a hot dog bun!!

Having fun! Sold the quail, and the polish eggs. Handing out a lot of business cards. And i got my quail from the guy, they are bigger than i thought!

Oi I am hurtin today. Went up to visit a friend who moved near Julian and did some hiking with her and her two kids. (There May have been carrying of said children near the end...poor mama. I stuck her with her eldest since she had a carrier and I grabbed the youngest when he was fading bad. Still...two someodd year old boy is a sturdy thing! And then get back to the house and it’s second wind time! POUNCE ON KAT!!

So between bodyslamming children onto couches and catching them mid-pounce and other shenanigans....oi I’m sore! (And peach alerted for some reason last night at midnight so jump up grab phone to find some jammies to cover myself with throw phone on bed look outside and go back to bed. And forget the phone on the bed. So I slept on my phone. Oops.

So this Newcastle likes dark damp things huh. But doesn’t live long in sun and dry....I’m surprised it’s an issue in California tbh with that. I’m not too worried about my flock...though I may have to implement some stricter biosecurity for the kids when they come to visit...since everyone has chickens.

Hubs is all ready to move the peeps into the big coop. I want to do some coop renovations first. They’ve been free ranging without much issue together now at least....but I still worry about that little Hamburg. She’s so little!! I need to plant some shrubs in the run - it’s all big tall eucalyptus trees. But then chickens are jerks...so I’d need to fence whatever off until it gets established. Sigh. Chickens.

Got this huge wrinkled egg from Sue today. Very thin shelled.

It was a double yolk! She has never laid a double before so I figure that’s why the shell is like that.
