We have a hen named Cassiopeia. DD1 names all the EEs after Greek mythology goddesses. Andromeda, Athena, Cassiopeia, Penelope, Persephone. Still have the last 3, they are 1, 3 and 6 years old respectively.


Our TSC doesn't deliver. However:
If you have roof racks for your car you have a couple of options that I have used.

1. The first time I bought CPs I also bought a 12' pipe gate. Lashed the gate to the racks and the extra 2' fore and aft of the CPs on top weren't a problem.
2. Next time I bought two 12' 2x4's, notched them at the appropriate places to stay firmly on the rack fore and aft and put safety hooks underneath to hold them down. I ran some 1/8" rope through strategically placed holes and tied loops on either side of the 2x4 so I had something to easily tie to. Same thing with the 2' extra fore and aft on the CPs, they are still enough to support that.

Fold? Well maybe "curl" Be careful with that though, I know someone who had her's blow open on the road and spring out of the truck. I gather it wasn't much fun for her getting them back in by herself. Maybe best to tie the ends together and them to the truck bed.

Oh yes, i am big on tying stuff down. Ratcheting tie down straps, bungies, ropes, i have it all in my truck!

Morning all, woke up 2 hrs before I needed to. Still sitting here trying to get motivated. LOL Not happening. Really dreading this ride. Its hot, I have no air and Im bringing Robert instead of Tom. The I dont like wind in my face keep the window rolled up Im hungry are we there yet Kid.

Here’s some random pictures, sibling’s puppers in dad’s car, and some lantana I planted the other day. I have hopes it will hedge up nicely and provide some blockage from noisy dogs. I love it! Gorgeous color. I have the standard pink/yellow variety spring up around my house.

I love lantana I have one. the only one that will come back here. Its purple and trailing.

Someone told me that’s a verbena? They have it planted in the pool area at the casino.

I put the keets on a towel last night because they kept slipping on the paper towels. They were huddled under the bulb this morning in a little wad so I added a cochin and silkie for warmth. Several ran straight under.

Halfway through class, he moves quickly but it’s stuff I’ve learned before. This is my third test. I still would’ve preferred to read it all last night, but I was so tired I couldn’t stay awake. I went to a popular restaurant down the street for lunch. It was packed so I sat at the bar by myself. Food was excellent: grilled fish tacos with homemade tortillas and fresh cut cabbage slaw.

Where is everyone?

Computer died Friday, guy at the Mac store did a 4 key reset. Brought it home, dead. Got it started once, died shortly after. Took it back Sat AM, guy starts it with 4 key reset. Said I could leave it or take it home and use it for the weekend, bring it back Monday and check it in for $65. Got home, still worked a few hours. Died. Did the 4 key reset a couple of times, back alive for maybe an hour. 4 key reset NG. Very occasionally would get a starting up progress bar. Half way through it would die. Never did get it started again. Decided to just replace it, who knows how much it would cost to fix, if even possible, and be without a computer for a week.
Behind on this thread like 50 or 60 pages this morning!!

Veronica laid one like that a few days ago, 14 grams. Of course that is a bit of a flyer for her, she is a full size Welsummer and usually lays 60g or larger.

Star is my most gentel laid back dog I have but she wont allow you in the house with a hat on. And Tom wears them when we go out.

Clearly Star has manners.

not fuddy duddies just "raised right" with proper manners, I even will take mine off at a restaurant should I happen to be wearing one.

Um, "even"?? I would think that is just as required as in the house. Perhaps it depends on where one lives.

Did i mention i walked into a board today, hit my head? Left a mark too!

I am up to 74 strawberries planted! It is difficult work, because of the stumps and roots i have to dig up. That area was brush when we moved here.
The area i planted for when i get goats is doing well. Just planted the area to the right, and its coming up already with all this rain.
