Holding the break down at the drive thru starts the jerking and turning the car off and restarting seems to fix it.

Mine needs to go in the shop too. Keep telling hubs, but it hasn't happened yet. We had the same problem with it on our first trip home from your house Pam. It's some sensor of some kind that causes it to not idle good, cruise control stops working & the check engine light comes on. You can reset it by disconnecting the battery but it only last a short while & then it starts acting up again. Usually I have to wait until we are going to travel or something before my car gets the once over. I only drive it 1 day a week normally.

My nephew is good with cars. Too bad you didnt stop on the way. I am hoping he makes a trip here soon.

Did you find the stuff? I have hissy fits all the time because of stuff being moved. Goat clippers were missing over a month and I bought a new pair. Old ones turned up in a place I know I never put them.

Oh that makes more sense. This is Toms dd's husband correct? Does she think the van is in good shape or something? If it was you would be driving it. Sounds like when she had extra money a while back that they should have had some work done on the car.

I need to borrow a reliable vehicle from someone for a day or two. Sounds like my dad isn't gonna make it thru the night and my son has to work so can't use his car. I'll put gas in it and I'm willing to trade ink or I can pay when i get back?
