What ever it is, looks like it got double penciling. I have a backyard mix hen that hatched last spring that looks like it has double penciling. Had never seen it before my hen.

I bought 2 tomatoes from the store that claim to be home grown. I know its not from here. Way too early. KY. too. But they looked so good I paid close to $2. each ! I havent tasted them yet.

Could be local if they have a heated greenhouse.

Of course, Dd #2, and her husband want to come visit. Par for the course.

They will be welcome, as long as they do more work for you than you need to do to have them there. They would be MOST welcome if you could just put your feet up anytime you wanted/needed to when they are there.

Dh gets mad if I pick green tomatoes before we have ripe ones even though he doesn't lift a finger to help with them. It's all my sweat & blood for them.

I think the concept of fried green tomatoes was to use the ones that wouldn't get ripe before winter killed the plants. I wouldn't want to "waste" the first ones of the season either. We wait SO long for real tomatoes (as opposed to cardboard grocery store ones). Lucky to have them ripe by the end of July here and that is only if you plant early maturing varieties.

Easier said than done! Would be great if we could wish illness and injury away. But i guess then there would be no hospitals!

Then where would we go to get sick?

After appointments we are going to hospital where billing department is apparently as of May 29th they claim hubby was in hospital at a cost of $25000 he was not in a hospital since February there are other billings that aren't true either which I can prove.Also a law firm got a hold to help out with hubby's credit & rid or bring down his bills it's not bankruptcy,thank you for all your help I appreciate it & I sure need it

You know, if hospitals were businesses, they would have to keep better billing records. Oh, wait, they ARE businesses . You definitely need to check each and every charge.

Really stinks that medical expenses can ruin a person's finances.

My lilacs are done blooming now, but they smelled so lovely when I was working outside. They bother my allergies so can't bring them in, but I sure enjoyed them outside.
