I am finding a good quality feed is important. Lots of hay, timothy if you can find it, alfalfa cubes and plenty of fresh grass. I have a hard time finding grass here, so i cut honeysuckle or other nontoxic weeds. Every time i weed the garden the bunnies and chickens get their goodies.

I’ve used half the bag those people gave me just for those 4 rabbits. It’s not even been a week. So I don’t think they were feeding them proper. I feed hay that’s alfalfa/orchard grass. Been looking for some bales but can’t find any.

I need to do something. Even the runt lionhead is getting thin. And they always have hay and fresh food available.

So i sold one rabbit and 6 keets today. Less to feed! Next weekend is the swap so hopefully sell a bunch more.

All the strawberry plants and raspberry canes are planted! Had to dig up several wild rosebushes to do it. Mulch applied.
Looks like it could rain. We could use it.
I found a dead baby bird out by the chicken yard. Wonder if it fell out of the nest and the chickens pecked it? Poor thing.

I saw a wild rabbit, a flying wild turkey and a ground hog on my travels today. I think there is a rabbit nesting under the workshop. Hubby heard something out there today.

So i need to change clothes yet again! Two trips to town is one too many. I need to go out and release the guineas and collect eggs. Bbl.

You know. I think I’ll use the leftovers from floppy comb piggy’s spa day for watering the tomatoes. I think I recall something about epsom salt is good for maters.

Misty that’s one delicious breakfast! Yum!

Hubs is still asleep. I’m on the second pot of tea (don’t panic, the pots are small, only about two mugs worth). Noticed I was running low on tea so put in a tea order (David’s tea how I love thee and miss having your stores around) and started the housework. Sigh. He sleeps I clean lol. Pain in the bum about having to work Friday - that’s my normal housework day so after having missed it two weeks in a row...the dog hair dust bunny armies were amassing and preparing for war.
Just not enough time in the day.

Also want to move my climbing rose out of the Container it’s in and plant it by the coop. Grape on one side, rose on the other. Why not? Also must run irrigation and get those pomegranates planted and fenced off (chickens are jerks)
