Granny's gone and done it again

We finally got the rain i asked for! I spent some time in the workshop painting the wood i ripped yesterday.
I came in and laid on the sofa and fell asleep. I must be feeling off because i didn't even eat all my supper.
Pulled more ticks off the dog, even found one behind her dew claw.
Think i will go back outside ttyl.

those fancy hubs are made so they cant be stolen. You need a special key to get them off.
We have those on 2 of the cars. They came with them. I should go buy 8 regular lug nuts because they are a PITA.

it the whole package, hubs, and rims and then those thin tires.
Low profile tires, how to have a rough ride. I once saw some on a Caddy SUV. Stupidest looking thing ever.

She is moving to Colorado! :hit 1200 miles away. 18 hour drive.
Moving from one state with water problems to another?

I washed my hands of that. Hubby is in charge of that project. The guy is losing money on the work for sure. I would be willing to pay more to someone that would finish quickly, if we could find someone like that.
Yeah, we all know you would have had it done months ago if it were your project.

and low flow shower heads (3 gal per minutes or less)
3 gal/min is hardly low flow. We had a choice of 2 or 2.5/min. 2 is plenty. The shower heads designed to work with less water are quite good. Not the same as way back when you got a little disk with a hole in it to put inline. Then you got piddly water pressure from the shower head because it wasn't designed for low flow.

Years back when CA had a prior drought, my Aunt who lived in Mill Valley said everyone was doing serious conservation. Saved shower water by having the stopper in and used it to water plants. Then the drought was over and their water got more expensive .... because people had gotten so good at conserving the "fixed costs" weren't being covered by the per gallon price.

Seen this on fb and about peed myself laughing!
