I moved the keets over to the broody suite at the farm! Still with their surrogate moms. Hoping being raised by a silkie and a banty cochin will tame them a bit.

So it turns out Granny was right! Dag nabbit rabbit has been eating my garden, hubby found poo today inside the fence. I think it must be going under the hot wire, then under the fence. So i am going to fence the individual raised beds with chicken wire. I need more chicken wire, i don't use it much. So mad!

Those I would call shell peas. As in you "shell" them and get the peas out. You CAN eat the pods but they are pretty stringy and tough.

we used to eat the pea's and then chew up the pods suck out the juice and then spit the "silage" back out.
