Granny's gone and done it again

the mans house that talked nasty about me. That was his house and why I went over there was to hire him to mow at the store . Yes, sister bought a store, never did anything with it. I sold it for her. received 10% comm .
What kind of store? So she never got it up and running. Is the store still there

I don't think I would sell sick birds, just not moral. Unless you tell the people and their use for the birds is not affected by the birds' illness (whatever that is).
My big coop had a lot of deaths out of the blue. I have no clue why. These never got sick but I go from one coop to the other.

Waste not, want not!

She can always pay more of her own volition, or give you a tip :D

An educated population is a good population. I'd sure hate to go back to the days when only rich kids got an education. There aren't many jobs anymore for illiterate people.

The cheapest breeds from the big hatcheries straight run are around $2.75 and then there is the shipping :eek:You can base your price on that. Local birds have no 2-3 day travel stress, no shipping cost.

Treats can bribe most any chicken. I have some that are skittish and sure wouldn't eat BOSS or scratch from my hand but they come running with the rest when treats are to be had. They just don't get as close. If any of my birds, even those that aren't skittish, feel they are trapped and start to freak, I just stop moving. Then they appear to think "Oh, no problem here", calm down and walk where they want to go.
These guys just got moved so Im hoping thats why they are acting up. They act like I did when I caught my stove on fire !

Going shopping tomorrow to buy more chicken wire, get more wood, and buy feed. That rabbit is seriously in trouble if i catch it. The trap is set, going to put some tempting greens in there before i go to bed.
With all that damage there is more then one. I hope your garden grows back.

Woo! Congrats!

Granny I’m really sad. I wish I could say there’s 3 more out there. I went out to feed and water again and opened up the coop with hawk and biddy. Dead baby that wasn’t even fluffed out laid by the door :hit and 1 egg was missing, no body to be seen. The last remaining egg I candled and gave to my brother to run inside to the incubator. It had pipped internally.

I agree! People with school aged kids and younger should be the ones taxed.
But around here 4/5 of them are all on welfare. So wouldn’t be anyone to pay.

I planted those beans twice already! Between the bugs and the rabbits, not much left. But i do have two light red cherry tomatoes.
I am going to make a lot of stakes and stake down all the fencing i have up.
