Puppy died. Dh couldn t tell if it was our jack russell or mixed puppy when he buried it last night. I heard it when the pickup hit it. Didn t even slow down. Got another polish egg todaay. Laying them on the ground

5 eggs by 10am. Need to buy a light for my other pen. Then dh would fuss because im feeding eggs to dogs & cats. Puppy got run over last night. Gd doesn t know yet. "

We were a month late with paying cash. Should have only taken about 2 weeks.
That's funny. Hubs and I were just talking about McCall last night while trying to figure out where the neighbor might be working. My family stayed out there in forest service cabins for Christmas a few different years.
I love my geese. They were super friendly and cuddly as babies. Now, they just yell at anyone and everyone, but they're good geese. They never bite or flog or anything. They are jerks when it comes to the other birds though lol
Tom turkeys have "beards" on their chests. They're like wirey hair hanging down. My tom has a little one, because he tears at it by rubbing his chest against the fence panels. His chest was completely bare when we bought him.

Made cookies last night. Chocolate Peppermint Bark, Lemon Lavender Shortbread, and Molasses. Today will be Peanut Butter Blossoms and Oatmeal Raisin, then I'm done.

Oh sounds good, can I have your lavender lemon shortbread recipe?

Hi guys, I have wonderful news. The MRI is done . results are in and CB is clean as a whistle !

No cancer, no lumps, bumps or bruises. He is however full of shat. No reason visible on the MRI so maybe something like IBS. He is supposed to get a new med. for it but it hadnt been called when we went by.
Thank you for all the prayers. Got about 2 hrs. sleep. It was very hard to drive back there this am but its over done.
He was so very funny on the pain meds. they put in his IV . He was wolf whistling at the nurse then he looked at me with my jaw hanging down and said: thats my mating call.

Twist, The cards came today. very beautiful and CB is inspired by your writing and now wants to write his biography. He is 11. hahaa He said to tell you thank you as well. We are both tickled no doubt.

Even though he is only 11 he has been through a lot. It's good to write it out.

Oh sounds good, can I have your lavender lemon shortbread recipe?

Lavender Cookies

3/4 c butter
3/4 c sugar
1/2 t lavender
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1 t lemon
1/4 t baking powder
1 3/4 c flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add lavender. Mix in egg, then extracts. Dump in flour and baking powder. Mix. Bake at 350 on a greased pan. Drop by the rounded Tablespoon 2" apart. 10-15 minutes.

Sorry, I shorthand my notes, but I added enough words back in that it should make sense to ya'll.

Edit to add: I use salted butter, so if you use unsalted, add a tad bit of salt, 1/2-1 t.
