Josie just carried a live chicken into the house. Poor hen is lying on her side, eyes closed, gasping. She actually got up and ran a bit when Josie dropped her, and I can’t find a mark on her. Not sure if she’s in shock or maybe was strangled. I didn’t see Josie with her outside. DD let her in a screamed “JOSIE HAS A DEAD CHICKEN” and barricaded herself in my bedroom.

Oh, poor DD.

Nope. Dead.

Poor chicken.

I bleach ours every time we come home because of the parvo. DD has 2 dogs so I don't want to bring that back.
