At least the guinea buyer from NC showed up. Got $42 for 6 , 2 week old guineas.
Going out shortly to work on the turkey coop. Those builders are supposed to show up today but not holding my breath. Have a great day everyone. Only 90° so far.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It's just another day on the calendar. Especially because my IBS has me so blocked up that I can't even enjoy food at the moment. That's my Birthday wish ~ crossed that I won't be so full of chit soon.

Well, she probably makes a good living at it, working 40 hrs a week. People pay big bucks for those fancy decorated cakes. Beats pumping out septic tanks for a living!

That's what I'm thinking. If you have the patience (or enough OCD) to make those things and people are willing to pay handsomely for your time and effort - go for it.

My take home is about $500 shy of paying the monthly mortgage alone. SEE WHY I STRESS.

Well. I better wash the sheets on the futon. I think I’ll be sleeping on it for a while. Husband seems to think money grows on trees.

Then he gets all gluteus Maximus hurt when I suggest he take some side projects this week to pay for it since he doesn’t think he’ll be starting til Thursday (yay holiday and all). I’m wondering if he thinks that selling that engine absolves him of all sins. Well, let’s see. Sold an engine for $1500, spent just shy of 1k on outfitting for the new job alone (yeah. $600 on freaking uniforms and he needed two new pairs of work boots - one for “everyday” and one for when he was out on fires...PLUS how much has he been spending on the project truck...
