Our temperature.

Yep I sure did flee work early. Stopped by the grocery store and grabbed a melon quarter for the girls too. They’re hot wings spread panting hard but doing ok. I hand fed bits of melon to those who were looking the roughest (Buffy, Sansa and broody) Sam is hanging out outside in the run in some shade. I ran some water down there so she has some mud to scratch in.

Gonna check on them again soon.

Chickens got watermelon rinds and strawberries. They do not like strawberries.
Really?? Mine love them though mostly they only get the green leafy top part.

je suis canadienne.

Melting into a puddle of maple syrup is a very real possibility.
Down there I bet DH could sell your melted self for $50/gallon, maybe more.

Well in Echo's case a couple of years ago, it is because a fox grabbed her. We heard the squawk and ran outside. Fox headed for the woods, Echo around the corner of the little barn. Figured she headed into the lower part of the big barn where the coop is. Finally found her 2 hours later at the neighbor across the road and down one house, about 300 yards.

Chickens in the shower.
They look very content.

So my brother carried feed bags out to the coop. Davey was blocking the way so he moved him with his foot. (A little too rough) Davey flogged him over it!
Brother needs to grow spurs so it is a fair fight.

They don’t get extras normally. They get all flock, free range time and scratch at lockup.

Brother needs to use manners. Saying excuse me does wonders lol
