Granny's gone and done it again

The chick i have is about 4 days old. Had curly toes. Put boots on it. One of the eggs in the incubator it hatched in was seeping , and the eggs were past due date. So i took the eggs out to toss them. Tied up in a plastic bag. Left them overnight. Took them downstairs in the morning to toss. Heard a chirp! Picked up each egg and tapped it. Found the chirper. Broke the top of the shell open, still lots of veins. So i put coconut oil on the membrane and put it in the incubator. Tonight i picked it up, membrane dried up. Peeled off egg. Washed the little bugger. Now its making a ruckus as it dries in the inxubator!
so of course you have to name it after one of the garbage pail kids ! hahaa

farm in the morning and will take the camera with me on the tractor when I go into the big pasture to mow down the Canadian thistle and some wormwood before it goes to seed. The yaks tend to ignore the tractor and any one on it
Farm will put a smile on your face !

Does it work as well as chemo?
Will his insurance cover it?
I'll see if hubby wants to try it if so I'll call around
Thanks for the suggestion:love
No ins prob won’t pay. You will prob have to go down to Mexico for it. It does seem like you should be able to get some kind of intergrated treatment.

I sent off those quail eggs today, hope they make it ok and hatch. $15. To ship a small box, boy the PO must be making a fortune.
Now that i am not collecting eggs for anyone, the A&Ms laid like crazy today.
Looking forward to moving the bunny cages out of the barn and into the lean-to once i get it cleaned up. I took the hay out yesterday, and i moved the pallet today. Still so very hot here and dry, leaves are falling off the trees. It's weird for July.
