My day started out great. Sold a turkey, went to the bank, pharmacy, grocery store and the feed store. They had open bags of feed marked 75% off. I got a bag of rabbit pellets for $4. A bag of marble chips for $1, and i got the shavings i needed for the turkey coop.
I hauled lumber down to the new coop site and cut it to size for the chicken runs. Then painted it. However i got involved feeding, watering and passing hay, an just worked through supper time. I get crabby when i don't eat. I miss hubby calling me when supper is ready.
I was inside and suddenly Mini started barking. She does not usually bark in the house. The motion dectector near the garage went off. I suspect a coyote, since it has been seen there before but i didn't see it.

This was very smoky on the way home. Got ash raining on the truck when I was at an intersection and at the time was easily a good...hmm. Mile and a half if not over two miles as the crow flies from the fire. Smoked out the valley too. Hope they got it out quick.

Fire season. Sigh. Someone send us rain.
