Dont care for Maggie or May. Horns messed up on one and looks disformed on the other. Too old ! The first one would be an awesome match for Porter.

Went to tuck in the chickens. Missing two. The little Lorp and the wyanrock. See rock feathers all over the neighbors yard and hubs thinks he saw Lorp bits in the yard too. I saw no feather trails but...there was a black lump that I thought was too small to be a chicken but hubs noticed the sheen.

Tomorrow we’re extending the fence on that side.

I am so....angsty with those neighbors right now. The daughter, who lives there now, stopped by when the fire was raging. She left. Left the dogs at home and left. (While I have unspoken arrangements with other neighbors regarding their dogs and fires, that pack is on their own.)
That and I’ve now lost four chickens to their pack. Granted it’s because the chickens are idiots and jump the fence (five foot fence I’m not sure how they do it) but. Eight freaking dogs. They can’t manage em.

maybe try trimming their wing feather's on one side and see is that helps a little

I have a couple hens I would like to sell at the swap and no way to transport. I have 2 crates that will fit and 3 different sized littles to take. I have 3 hatch today under that cage. One went MIA one has blood around the beak and one loud mouthed . I wont be able to take them either. But I should have around 30 to take.

That red hen was eating her babies as soon as they hatched and I have a bantam polish eating eggs. I want them both gone . Hmm maybe I should put both of them in the serama coop .
