Was sitting here catching up... dark out, #1 is watching an old Sinatra movie, hubs reading the paper... hot in here, fan is on, slider wide open... suddenly we all hear a noise. Did you hear that? Was that a... that sounded like a chicken! Someone must have been messing around and missed getting in the coop before the auto door shut. She came over by the house... very confused. It was Figgypudding, the red-jubilee-project Orp. We couldn't catch her, dumb bird. Had to herd her over tot eh coop and open the door for her, use the flashlight to let her jump up on the roost. First time any of them have missed curfew.
