Granny's gone and done it again

I cut and painted the remaining boards for the frame of my next quail duplex. And i cut and assembled some of the parts of the lofts. So i should be able to start assembly soon. I have 2 groups of quail that are really needing to get out of the brooders.
And tomorrow i hope to build at least one end of the chicken coop frame, unless it decides to rain.

there was a little angst when I came across Enola and Sheila's "official registeration papers" and wrote DOA and the dates, couldn't bring myself to write just plain "dead"
It is just plain awful Twist. I lost a pregnant doe once, i didn't have a due date. But she started going downhill. The minute she died, i cut her open but i discovered the twins had been dead for days. I never saw her in labor, so either she didn't have the hormones or they were stuck somehow. Anyway, i lost all three. A sad day.
