Not even. May hit myself with some pen g. Thought a couple months ago I had that. Was in awful pain for a few days, so bad I cried. Did think about ER. BUT glad I didn’t. My bros ER visit after insurance was still $800. That was IV and PP.

It is when you don’t have it. Healthcare is stupid, maybe if I used it more because I had major medical problems...but there’s not even much out here. If you need something other than a family dr you have to go an hr+ away.
I got docked $200 from my taxes last year because I didn’t have health insurance for September-December. Maybe they ought to think about the reason why I don’t. I just can’t afford healthcare, between student loans, food, and other necessities...I’m broke. I don’t have a credit card, and work is few and far between out here. I’ve applied for so many jobs in the last 6 Months it’s crazy. I’d take anything at this point, and it’s not like I’m lazy and wouldn’t show up.

Alley I hear ya. It was hard job hunting when I moved down here. Now I’m where I am now and even though I’m overworked and underpaid I’m afraid to leave. (Not only cause job hunting is the devil but also cause I’d worry about what they’d do without me and what would happen to my other admin)

I am currently dispairing my boss lady though. Our other admin has been off this week to take care of her mom who had emergency surgery.

What does our boss do? She’s not been helping out with other admin’s workload (I’ve been doing what I can but I’m not trained in her stuff and I’ve been blasting away on payroll) and now she’s going to check out wedding venues for her daughter (who’s still in university I may add)

You know, I would have rescheduled that myself...but...

The job market is hot now. Don the sell yourself short. Look around, they obviously don’t appreciate you. Why should you care about what they would do without you, they would just hire someone else. Do you get a percentage of their profits?

I know job hunting isn’t fun but they are taking advantage of you. And the whole AC thing was ridiculous. You sound like a very valuable employee.
