Did yall know there is only one ear of corn per stalk of field corn ?

Made me a salad---lettuce, chicken, pickled eggs,green mator,onions,green beans with ranch dressing

Pickled green tomatoes ? You dont eat them raw do you ?

Good for you, Granny! It was 70s today, now down to 60s.

So i figured eventually some varmint would come along and kill something. I turned on the lights in the barn and a coon had reached in a cage and grabbed a quail by the head and pulled until the neck was about 6" long! I had already lost a baby quail this morning and then i found one that had gotten soaked in the waterer and looked dead. Took her in to warm up but she laid an egg and died while i was gone.
