Hi Alley. Sophie was very pretty, but her mane wasn't quite as white as it shows in the pic. More a cream color. She was a good horse, liked a soft hand... unless she was not on the trail on someone's rear. Then she would do everything she could to jerk the reins out of your hands!

Where in CO are you?

We stayed in Loveland with my friend (who just moved to Colorado last month) and looked at schools in Fort Collins and Golden. The horseback ride was in the Roosevelt National Forest in Beaver Meadows.

Coolest thing... we saw a mama moose with a (big) calf. They were down the hill in some thick brush, but you could see them pretty good. We decided to mosey along when mama moose turned toward us and seemed unhappy. yikes! We had about 300 yards between us, but not enough when a moose is mad.

No, the best cure for TB is a date with a toilet.

well, I didnt get a nap. Twist wouldnt stop pestering me so I went out and fed chickens watched Iron man , made some bacon ranch pasta salad.
Horses are very pretty. Trail horses. Never get lost with those. Home tomorrow right ?

Yes, finally home. Plane was delayed, and baggage was a long wait, so we didn't get home until 1am. yawn!

Some old fat lady was sitting there taking up all the space. And her poor horse was moaning and groaning the whole time!

Saved a ton at Tsc. Spent $55 on feed, alfalfa pellets, scratch, shavings and a tarp. The tarp was 38.99 in store but 19.99 online. So they honored it. Alfalfa pellets were $15 on sale but $11.99 at Rural king so matched that also. Scratch was on sale. I forgot a small bag of oats.

Ha. Finally ordered a desk. Target had a 25% off thing. I will get my study put together yet!!!

(Will need to order a chair. But...amazon can hook me up there)
