Granny's gone and done it again

Look what showed up yesterday!!

And granny. I’m going to type this up later but here’s my basic recipe. I tend to add some Worcester sauce and mustard powder as well to the sauce. Actually heck I’ll type it up later.

I may just type out some other easy recipes for you. Do you have a slow cooker? I can’t remmeber.

two batches of relish done and "cooling" on racks, kitchen cleaned up and a bucket of trimmings and what not for the chickens next trip out or when someone comes to town.

That is a concerning amount of comb for a one month old...

Duck people came and got four hens and the big black drake. They wanted the black hen but DD had already claimed her. Then they offered to buy my goat, for meat. And I didn’t say no.... I said I’d get back with them. So now I have a decision to make. Beaux is my baby, but he’s all alone now. And if I can’t keep him, then a quick end with a kind family after months of open fields and other goats isn’t a bad way to go...
