Granny's gone and done it again

They are pretty big. I like the look of the one heifer but not the other. We’ve been talking about selling all cattle. I’m kinda over them.


Yep and angus cross. The guy that we bought our first bull from almost 20 years ago kept detailed logs on his cows, even had the milk tested. He was selectively breeding for milk production quantity with high fat.


Most are allowed to drink the first milk. Then according to their practice they either take all calves to bottle feed or like my friends farm they leave the heifers with Mom. Bulls are usually sold as bottle calves or for meat.

besides you can keep a LOT more tree killing goats on the same acreage
