the casings can be worth money and better then laying around where something could eat or step on them and hurt themselves

I wondered if they will hurt the mower blades.

why ?

Because the people who lived here before us were slobs and liked to shoot a lot. The casings are down behind the house, in the garden and in the "grass" . Every time it rains hard i find more. I have thrown out several buckets full.

I have also found live rounds. Not good to have lying around. Plus nails, screws and glass shards.
