Granny's gone and done it again

Why is everyone so snippy with me today. I’m starting to get a little pissy from it.

Had a woman ask where I was located even though it was in the ad. Like she’s using the Internet but can’t google. She then asked about silkie chicks and she asked how hard are they to raise. I told her they were like regular chicks. They need food, water and heat. She then informed me that they AREN’T like regular chickens. I swear I’m going to start ignoring the simple ones. They get me wound up.

Which ones? The bigger birds were hatched in June and the smaller ones hatched the first week of July.
Kelly is huge but no development around the beak. Some of the little ones have a huge knot above their beak. I’m pretty sure my wild is a boy.

It’s harder to see in the other picks. In the original post I was thinking Kelly(?)if he’s the lighter one, and the khaki, the blue/lav, and one of the pieds. Boys have a long square tail and girls have a smaller round/pointy tail if I’m thinking right. Can you get straight overhead pics?

Don't let it get to you. People are ignorant, they just don't know it.

Yeah Kelly is the big “white” one. He hisses so a boy. But I think all the other big ones sound like pigeons. So that’s a girl sound? I gave up on the tail thing because I swear every day it’s different. Sometimes pointy and sometimes wide. I’m so confused with the things lol

The younger ones are still peeping. They are getting their wing feathers in now. I really need to sell some. They eat a lot.

Thank you for the happys, Robert enjoyed them this one and Bruces got a good giggle

Lots of attempted murders.

These touchy kindergarteners are pushing me over the edge with touching. I’ve been groped too much in the last month by these kids. I’m about to put myself in a bubble.
Yet if you touch them you get in trouble.

I wondered if they will hurt the mower blades.
Not too much but I would be concerned about them becoming projectiles. Could be dangerous.

I think he’s just salty that today was “fend for yourself” day, so he had to make his own lunch (Well, he went to Panda Express) and he went to the bank himself (he needed cash for a truck part) AND he had to let the dog out for the day and release the peeps and cluckens.
Oh my, that must have taken the better part of an hour!! Has he woken up from his nap yet?

do you have an had held electric grinder with a "cut off wheel" makes life much faster and simpler I find
Good suggestion.

Sounds like the SS.
And Ancona.

All good brother.. How about you?
Muddling along. Been working on my fire wood storage/transport "cages". Now that I have a real tractor I can move more wood and not have to touch it as many times. But I have to make 11 more "cages" which won't all be happening this year.
