Is this the first time using a silent auction for the find raiser? I think it's a great format... always done well with them for school fund raisers.


That is great. Shows how much work you have put into her. She may shake a chicken around, but she is perfectly proper with Bubba. Better than I would have expected. Belle was never that good, even as an adult. (one for Bubba, one for DD, and one for Josie) Oh, and one for Jewell who is a very good role model of perfect behavior.

It’s the first time for a live auction. We had both. The auctioneer is famous around here for getting big results at fundraisers. And if the bid stalls, he’ll ask the donor if they’ll do two of the item. For instance, I put up a bday party at the camp for ten kids with activities, pool, and cupcakes/ice cream. Bidding stalled so he said “you’ll do two?” Of course I will, only costs us like $30 to host that many. So that made $800. A guy on the fundraising committee makes wooden outdoor furniture, and he’s going to end up making a second set. Before it ever started the auctioneer said with the size of the crowd and the number of items we would likely get $10k. He was right. So the other $7k was silent auction, ticket sales, and donations.

I have a question please. I know someone that took a min. of 8 PPs like I have a day. I am allowed 4. It has wore off and I hurt. Should I try another ? BTW, Robert looked and said my whole leg looks bad. He couldnt tell me how though.

Can't say about the PP. You should contact the clininc about that. Your leg doesn't look that bad to me. Is the lump actually swelling, so you think? It's not muscles bunched up from a torn tendon or something that let loose?

It works great for the dogs. Cats are a little smarter. They stick their paws in there and drag pieces out. LOL

You can add a baffle that the fatties can't reach around.

Yes I am. I didnt have a choice . LOL Its some better. I feel like I need to just stop complaining about all the pain I have .

I don't think you need to stop complaining, but know that we are all going to give our 2 cents of advice because we all want you to feel better.

Grand total is over $17k. Probably a record, for a fundraiser.

There is a way to turn it off, but don't know off the top of my head. Just put your finger over the flash when you take the pic!

Foot tingling implies a nerve problem.

Tendons attach muscles to bone. If you tear a bit of muscle from the tendon, it can't stretch itself back out, and bunches up... looks swollen. It will hurt and bruise too.
