I like mince meat pies and I have a recipe of my grandmother's which involves it being stuff in a cookie and found a recipe for a "quick" bread that looks good as well.

The man that lives across from me is completely independent of all utilities. He will always have heat, water, ect... and besides initial cost its free now.

ground my spices for it today so a quick stop at the store for a lemon and orange and a bag of raisins I have everything else here.

went out and picked all the maters off the last plants and got what apples I could reach. ONE tree was devoid of apples NOT sure what happened. But Gene got a bunch of local granny smiths and I got a grocery bag of them off of him.

My other apple tree's fruit would be to soft/sweet for mincemeat

Still have to find some straw and get gen pop cleaned out and then finish setting up/winterizing the lean to in the calf pasture so I can move all the ducks over. And a couple other things.
