Granny's gone and done it again

I always did like those dark spiky plants . I used to use neutral fish gravel to make the plants POP .

I really like it. It’s one I was going to get last weekend but decided to wait until I got the bigger pot. They didn’t have any of the brown/cream gravel. Half the store was empty shelves. That’s what I wanted to get and grab a few larger stones to break it up. I love plants, although I prefer the cactus and succulents.

I was looking at fish tanks at Goodwill, two were plastic and the glass one they wanted $30. for... you can get a new one for that much. I was considering a betta, thanks to Allie...
I need to go collect eggs and check animals.

You can get a 10 gallon at Walmart for $10. The goodwills around here are expensive and don’t really get much other than clothes.

Sorry My beta is in a little 1 gallon tank. Cost $12. I tried to get some fish for the turtles but they were all out. The guy tried to sell me crickets.....

The egg that my silkies were taking turns sitting on hatched sometime today. Black silkie chick. It was laying about 2ft from the nest. It was dry and fully formed. But dead.

it is. But it was a oops baby. I didn’t collect eggs soon enough from Mom. So Mom has a 2 week old chick and would have had a new baby too.

My Tolbunt pullet has been hiding her eggs! I saw one in a corner, and went to get it...there were 2 more in the shavings. So into the bator they go!

We have crickets in the barn...but the chickens love those soldier fly larvae and they are easier to catch.

Maybe she was building a nest. My silkies do that. I found 2 eggs in the corner under the roost.
