They are such a pain! Guess that's why they can live just about anywhere. Opportunists and survivors.

I had put all the Tolbunts in the coop for the night and i thought i had better check to make sure they stayed in. Nope. Dora was out again! She wasn't up against the wire but she could have been and a coon might have grabbed her. Went and got the hardware cloth and put big pieces over the end of the perches so a coon couldn't reach in. Three of the turkeys were perched in the run, but they all looked safe as i already did their perches.

The last time my birds wouldn't stay on the usual perches it was because red mites were bothering them. Might be worth checking.

I will check, but she has always been a girl who likes to sleep in the great outdoors. She is always the hardest one to find if i let them free range!
