I used to LOVE to sing and would sing loud and long til one day ,I was in the car w/ my mom and she said, You know Pam, you sound good solo . Well I got all kinds of excited ! I do ?? Yes, she said, So low I cant hear you. Broke my heart ! I never sang in front of anyone again. Tom can hear me sometimes when I am outside singing to my chickens. LOL

My husband was a little boy and took up the saxophone. Someone told him how bad he sounded and he never played it again. We need to be careful with our words

No, i spent a boatload. Worked my butt off. Literally. Lost 20lbs putting up fences. I loved it. The goats were terrific! Had about a hundred of them. 40 or so rabbits, three pigs, a few quail. And a gigantic garden. Oh heck, i never dug potatoes today either. I did pull weeds in the flower garden and spread some mulch.

So it was a hobby.
