I can always tell the exact day winter becomes real for me. Its today. SAD kicks in.
I got my shot today. One day late from the 25th but close enough.
Tomorrow there is a swap. Unbelievable. Im not going to stand out in the cold just to give my birds away.
I think I am going to try the heated dog dish this yr. Its on sale for $15. right now. Probably wont be when our check comes in.
I have never seen the thread so dead.

I spent the past several days building a pig escape proof pen and trying to wrangle the pigs into the pen. Had to get really creative. So now I have just 8 pigs to get penned up.... Food is going only in the pig escape proof pen and the pig trap.

Need to catch whoever it is that is cutting my fence. They cut fence Sunday night into Monday morning and my boar escaped. 600 lb Mangalitsa boar has been gone since sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

road crew found this bobcat close to us. I dont know if they killed it or found it dead.

She never did before, even after her spay. But she did on the way to the sitter, and then on the way home. Right before the destination each time.

How long a trip is it?

have never had a problem with birds and my chickens, first year with ducks and a whole new learning curve.

NOW coons and skunks yes.

It was today. Anytime they steal a base in the World Series the next day free tacos.

The series ended on Sunday, why would Thursday be "the next day"??

That is gross . and why does day 1 look like how we get it and day 3 looks rotted ?

nope just an extra large bathtub from the 50's and then once I am in I just leave pure hot water dribbling/trickeling in the tub the 1/2 or longer that I am in the tub. I think the final temp is over 120* OMG so lovely.

You must have the water heater set WAY too high!

I have checked BUT can NOT get one to go high enough on the temp.

Get a whirlpool tub with a heater in it.
