well, thanks for trying to make me feel better about it Camping. I will have to think on it.

I used to go for ice cream afterwards, as a reward. Or shopping. Now I just get it done and move on with my life. But I am always around lots of young adults who need to go for their first check up, so I need to be brave and treat it casually so they also realize that it’s uncomfortable, but it’s not a big deal.

Every year ! I might be a little past due. I thought after a hysterectomy you didnt need to.

I don’t know the answer to that. My mom has gone in after her hysterectomy, but I don’t know if there was an issue or if it was routine check.

My worst pap ever was done by a woman. My first one too. Ugh. That’s a story for later.

My last pap I freaked the nurse practitioner right out. She didn’t use the small one. I bled. A lot.

The yearly gyno is the only type of appt I regularly go to, and if I didn’t need to meds I probably wouldn’t. I don’t go to the optometrist until I run out of contacts, and if I get bad sick I just go to urgent care.

aNd I dont want one either. I dont have anything left. Hospital just called and Between Tom and myself we have 4 appts. at the hospital for tests on Dec. 11th.
