I miss building fires. I suck at it. LOL I have to stand over it and poke it every 15 mins and I know that cant be right. Got too hard on my back. I set it on fire once. LOL

Some guy was banging on my door and I was trying to get the dogs away so I could open it. He got tired of waiting and jerked the door out of my hand and opening it. He said there is fire shooting out of your chimney ! It went out on its own

We can't have a fire tonight... already too much smoke out there, and they have called for a ban. Been cold too. Not snow cold, but into the 30s.

We had a chimney fire at the farm when I was a kid. It was loud, but not as loud as mom hollering about it. Got to keep the chimney swept!
