Our eating habits are ingrained on us as children. We are rewarded with sweets when we are good and it becomes a comfort food for us as adults. We are taught we must eat everything on our plate and that carries over to adult hood too.

I think there is nerve involvement with this pain, i have the tips of several fingers in my left hand going numb.
