Maybe DIL needs a job/second job to pay for those trips. Depending on the day, one day tickets range from $97-$135. Let's see, for a family of 4 that is $388- $540. Not including parking and a bunch more for food.
Had me stumped. Why would anyone say that ? To be mean ? My GM never bought chicken food. I dont try to replace my failed anything w/ chickens.Don’t stress your shoulder
Yum, that candy looks good.
Hey pert, this is the place for you.
What is wrong with some people. Of corse chickens like fruits and vegetables. What do you think they ate before purina layer pellets. Every living creature needs food that is alive.

Granny, it’s a general store for the community, Amish and otherwise. You can get bulk dried goods like pasta, seasonings, beans, etc. But they also sell “modern” amenities like batteries, and electric appliances. And they sell Amish furniture and quilts. It’s a neat shop, we always make it a point to stop. Prices are super cheap, because it’s not a tourist stop. We have to drive hour and a half to the middle of nowhere.
Actually, it’s the villages of Van Buren, if anyone has heard of it. This link has pics of The Dutchman’s store and the Milton Creamery! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thegazette.com/subject/life/people-places/iowa-all-over-villages-of-van-buren-county-features-11-individual-villages-20160103?template=amphtml
