One of this years lings is turning into a GORGOUS drake. Grey and white with an all white chest.

Granola stands as tall as Hailey, and Hailey is a year older. Not sure if Granola is huge or Hailey got stunted a little from having an early calf.

no got to de nut going to butcher like soon. Will band Kleansor next spring.

Oh and he was humping Hailey and any one else who would stand still and then the girls got in the act of humping.

thank you they were still all kind of pooped out after the great chase (MULTIPLE times ) by Rod and Myself to get them up to the mini-coral so we could run them thru the chute. Nothing like attempting to run thru slush and ice and not either got splat or do the splits.

sigh and yet another set of thermals died today. BUT I did pick up a new pair at Runnings on my first trip there today.

Second trip as Rod's about out of the last bag of milk replacer and I want to to go through one more bag before we/he weans her. So $300.00 in replacer and a couple bottles and nipples is what she ended up in additional costs compared to a momma raised calf. Advantage she is NOT crazy or afraid of people. In fact she just stood and watched the entire repeat of the "Great Escape" over and over and over and over again.
